Advice
and

How do I order the plant containers?

Speak to Keith Wheatley on 01992 464066, email him or send a text to 07813 560734.

What sizes are available?

Most planters are available in a range of sizes.   Select the type of container via the navigation bar at the top of the page and click on the required image for details.   You can also click on this ‘see the complete range’ link and then click on the image text for further details.

How do I pay?

We accept BACS or CHAPS payments, credit cards via Paypal and official local authority orders.

How long does it take to deliver?

Many metal, timber, plastic and stone plant containers are available within a few days.   Special order colours, bespoke containers and larger containers are available to order and can be 12 days+.

What materials are they made from?

Choose from metal, GRP ( Glass Reinforced Plastic), AC ( Advanced composite), timber, stone (polystone: stone and resin), ceramic, and polyester.

What colours can I choose?

GRP and AC planters are available in any BS or RAL colour.   This is a very large range so you can match the colour of almost anything. Metal containers are available in silver, gold and bronze colours and painted if required.   Plastic containers are available in black, grey, blue, red, white, yellow, green, mauve, pink, orange, brown, granite effect and sandstone effect.  Colour ranges depend on the planter chosen.

Are there any other finishes?

On some containers you can also have egg shell finishes, real wood veneer, ceramic style, polished metal, sea shell, bamboo, stone, rope and basket.

Are they waterproof?

The vast majority are waterproof although some planters are not suitable for outdoor use and some will need a lining for indoor use.

How do I clean the containers?

Aluminium planters are lacquered and will wipe clean with a damp cloth.   Gloss GRP and AC will wipe clean in the same way.   Matt GRP and AC are less easy to keep clean as the finish is similar to matt emulsion painted walls.   GRP can be scrubbed with a brush.   Steel planters can be cleaned with a standard stainless steel cleaner.

Where do I get plants to put in the containers?

We supply an enormous range indoor and outdoor plants and will plant up and deliver the displays subject to delivery charges and access.

Can I have my existing office plants transferred in to new containers?

Many office plants will transfer in to new containers.   Some that have been established for a long time may suffer when transferred.   Try transferring them all and any that deteriorate can be replaced with new ones.   We will transfer the plants for you and supply new ones if needed.

How do I look after my plants?

Planters can be fitted with a water reservoir and filling spout with a water level indicator for ease of watering.   Advice will be given on types of plants suitable for the location.   We can maintain your office plants for you.   Please go to www.plantdisplayhire.com for more details.
